This is a special event that Honinster facilitate for us. This pilot of a later public event is open to ‘club experts in wow’ members, invitees  or by special invitation/application.

Fri evening arrival: optional short shake out run North of CP2 (+ intro to electronic watch nav)
Saturday – CP3.5 (Dufton) – CP4 (Alston) 31K 1000m + guest run guide: Kim Collison
Sunday – CP3 (Langdon Beck) – CP3.5 (Dufton) 20K 400m + intro to Winter Survival
Optional Monday – CP2 – Tan Hill or A66 (to conquer Sleightholme moor – the bog from hell) 

Following on from our 2 day Bob Graham round challenge we are providing as well a very achievable way to run/recce the full Bob Graham round over 5 days. We will guide you over the full round starting and finishing at the famous Moot Hall in Keswick…

Even at 2 days the Bob Graham round is a significant challenge and we are taking it on as a team sportive style.  Expect 2 ‘good days out’ on the fells – some of it in the dark for the full experience

We ran our first open house in June 24, then repeated June 25 both in the Brecon Beacons – they both worked well – so now we are repeating in the Lake District

A full program of skills to equip you for running adventures and races –  including: Hill/Fell running techniques, Navigation for runners (essential map & compass skills and how to use electronics), Pole technique (training and practice), Kit discussions, Goal setting & strategies (front v mid-back of pack) …and a lot more
